News: Okamoto Leaves Capcom

Yoshiki Okamoto, the creator of Street Fighter 2 and Final Fight, has decided to leave Capcom.

Yoshiki Okamoto, who has worked on many games in his career, is to leave Capcom. According to GameForms he will be leaving Capcom over differences but his talent is not going to be lost to the world. He is to start his own company, which at the moment is called Game Republic. The name is not official but it is very similar to the old magazine Gamer's Republic so he may need to re-consider.
