One Piece on PS3 far outsold anything else for the week, but 3DS was well represented in the top ten...

The latest Media Create charts are out, and another week brings us a new face at the top in the Land of the Rising Sun.

The latest One Piece game from Namco Bandai actually stole the show, far outselling anything else and grabbing one of the best opening weeks for a PS3 game. The biggest title on a Nintendo system for the week was the 3DS iteration of the latest Mario & Sonic at the Olympics game. Perhaps what was more notable was the amount of other 3DS games making their way into the top 10. Harvest Moon shows decent legs after a strong debut, while Theatrhythtm Final Fantasy enjoys a big boost from being back in stock - selling double what it managed last week.

Regular readers will also notice the Big Three on 3DS (Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, and Monster Hunter Tri G) holding firm in the top ten.

Despite PS3's surge thanks to its big-name new release, 3DS just about clings on to the top spot of the hardware chart. There's little change elsewhere, with Sony's Vita staying a fraction about the ten thousand mark.
