Lexar will be bringing a new line of SD cards, for particular use with consoles.

Do dodgy memory cards annoy the hell out of you? Sick of compatibility issues and the usual nonsense that comes with the product? Well, Lexar could be there to end all your woes.

Lexar are releasing an expandable line of memory cards. The "gaming edition" memory cards are said to maximise compatiblity and utility with games consoles in mind, and that includes the Wii.

Fraser MacDonald, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Lexar EMEA, noted: "The gaming industry is extremely important to Lexar and we are committed to providing this growing market with the advanced memory products needed for maximum compatibility, user convenience, and flexibility."

Excellent news. We just hope the end product lives up to this initial promise.
