Oxygen games has announced a sequel to last years PDC World Championship Darts, and this time the game will appear on the Wii.

PDC World Championship Darts 2008 will make use of the Wii Remote by using it for simulated throws. The game features game features more PDC players, improved physics, improved animations, more game modes and a full career mode based on the real PDC season.

The Wii remote also enhances the darts party games which are available on all versions.

"We are delighted to be able to release the sequel this year, especially as it's now on the Wii", said Jim Scott, CEO of Oxygen Games. "We have worked really closely with the PDC to make this the most complete darts game ever, and the amount of new features in this title delivers a true-to-the-sport experience."

PDC World Championship Darts 2008 is due for release December 2007 on Wii, PS2 and PC.
