News: PDC Darts 09 Improved Over Last Year

Oxygen lists three big additions to this year's PDC World Championship Darts title, as it aims to be the best yet...

Last year's PDC World Championship Darts 2008 was a decent title for fans of the sport, but we felt there was still things to be improved upon. Fast forward almost twelve months and Oxygen have sent us a list of the top four additions to this year's title - check them out:

    1) The throwing method with the Wii Remote is all new, having been re-designed and improved from the 2008 version. The mechanism has been completely rewritten to give you the most realistic darts throwing experience yet so you'll have no excuse if you miss an easy shot! Says Phil "The Power" Taylor (who once again been consulting with Rebellion and Oxygen on the game): "The throwing method is smooth, fluid and simple. Oxygen have really improved upon last year's version and it feels the same as throwing a real dart with the advantage being that I don't have to walk to the dart board to take out the arrows!"

    2) With over 4,000 lines of commentary using TV's voice of darts, Sid Waddell and raspy voiced scorer Russ Bray will get you immersed into the action.

    3) Left handed but not left out - the full list now includes 2 left handed players, James "the Gladiator" "009" Wade & Alan "the Saint" Tabern, who are new to the game so no need to feel others have the unfair advantage!

PDC World Championship Darts 2009 is out on May 29th for both Wii and DS!
