Sega have unveiled a brand new Phantasy Star game for the DS, with full online multiplayer!
Well, this is a turn up for the books. Famitsu magazine has broken the news that Phantasy Star Zero is heading to the DS this Winter in Japan, with complete online multiplayer.
The series' stalwart features of character type choices, single-player story mode, action role-playing and online multiplayer are coming to the DS in full gorgeous 3D. Up to four players can form a party and play together online (or via local wireless play as well).
You can talk to your buddies via a Pictochat stylus scribbling which pops up as world balloons, and from which you save your faves for easy retrieval during the heat of battle.
The title's story will come from mystery writer Teru Arai and series quest mastermind Tooru Shiwasu. We'll be keeping a close eye on more - including international release news.
