Nintendo plan updates to the Wii Photo Channel, but not all is good...

Nintendo plan to release an update for the Wii Photo Channel in December, with two main changes.

The first update will be the ability to chose one of your photos as the Wii Photo Channel icon. The second some may not like.

The Wii Photo Channel will soon to play music files in the format .ACC (which are higher quality than MP3, and used a lot in iPods). This, however, will replace the existing mp3 support, meaning that you'll have to convert your music files into ACC to use in the Wii Photo Channel.

This update will be optional, so you will be able to keep using MP3 files if you don't update the channel.
