Prepare to make your very own creatures with Nintendo's upcoming Picture Lives!.
Quietly announced at E3 Nintendo's Picture Lives! for the Nintendo 3DS allows you to make your very own creatures and set them into the wild. The title, known as Ikimono Zukuri: Crea-toy in Japan, is due to be released on the Japanese eShop on September 7th for 700 yen and we have some brand new information about it.
The creatures you make in Picture Lives! are called Kunyape, strange creatures that come from a small planet, and you can trade these with other people using Spot Pass or QR codes. You can interact with and use the Kunyape you receive in the game as well.
Once you have created your creatures you can play mini-games, go on walks, take photos of your Kunyape and even use augmented reality cards to make the creatures appear in the real world. Picture Lives! will feature over 500 parts for you to place together to create your own unique being and you can alter the colour of each part or add pre-made accessories. Background items can also be designed and placed in the world.
There is still no word on when the title will be released in Europe but as always we'll keep you updated. A new video from Picture Lives! can be seen below. Be sure to let us know if you're interested in this game using the comments section.
