As the saying goes, "if you can dodge a shuriken, you can dodge a ball!"

Silent, hidden and deadly, or loud and drunk? It's time to take it to the dodgeball court to settle this age-old (and slightly tiresome) internet meme, and discover who would truly win in a fight between pirates and ninjas.

Pirates Vs. Ninjas Dodgeball on the Wii is an enhanced port of an Xbox Live Arcade title released for the Xbox 360 last year. In addition to the expected battle modes in which you'll be duking it out in heated four-on-four brawls, you can also expect exclusive-to-Wii story and challenge modes, in addition to customisable control scheme. The XBLA title contained both online and offline multiplayer, but it remains to be seen if we'll also be treated to a nice dosage of Wi-Fi madness.

Publishers South Peak Games have confirmed to N-Europe that Pirates Vs. Ninjas Dodgeball is expected to be released on April 4th in Europe (we imagine that this is the closest they could get to April Fool's Day).
