Play as a deadly great white shark in JAWS: Ultimate Predator.

When Jaws was first released in 1975 it kept many people out of the water for a while but now Majesco are giving you the opportunity to scare others in the newly announced JAWS: Ultimate Predator for the 3DS and Wii.

In the game, set 35 years after the film, you play as a deadly great white shark and you must defeat shark hunters and rule the ocean. Both versions allow you to attack your enemies, with the 3DS version allowing you to do so using the touch screen while the Wii version features a rage meter that you must build up to deafeat your enemies.

JAWS: Ultimate Predator is due out later this year and both versions look set to be unique titles. In the official announcement Jesse Sutton, CEO of Majesco Entertainment, commented on what to expect from the games:

"The Jaws movie defined a generation and forever changed our perception of sharks. Sinking your teeth in as the ultimate predator is a strong and compelling concept underlined by the performance of our best-selling Jaws console games years ago. Never before released for Nintendo platforms, 'JAWS: Ultimate Predator' lets a new generation experience that same visceral underwater thrill."
