Nintendo officially unveil the new generation of Pokémon titles...

After weeks of speculation, Nintendo has given us answers and revealed the names for next generation of Pokémon games. The official website for Pokémon Black and Pokémon White has opened.

After years of Nintendo seemingly exhausting the world's mineral supplies to name one of its most popular franchises, there's something quite appealing about going back to the more simplistic colour palette. It's not yet known though whether this means the new titles will finally see us playing out an edgy, noir flashback to Professor Oak's youth as a trainer (that'd be a 'no' - Ed).

The games have been confirmed to be hitting Japan this Autumn on Nintendo DS. A full unveiling of the Black & White has been suggested to be occurring on April 15h.
