Pokémon Black & White continues it's worldwide success by selling over 1 million copies on launch day in America.

In spite of being fifteen years old the Pokémon series shows no signs of slowing down. After breaking release date sales in both Japan and the UK Pokémon Black & White has also sold a tremendous amount in the first twenty four hours since release in America.

According to VGChartz both games combined have sold 1.4 million units within the first day. This has made it the 12th biggest opening in America of all time.

Expect more figures when the full American charts are released but for now rest assured that the franchise is not going anywhere soon.
