North American gamers will get to meet a whole new generation of critters early in March!

Japan have had their hands on it for a few weeks now, it's time for the west to get Pokémon Black and White. Well, technically, March is that time, because Nintendo of America has confirmed in press release that the games will release in North America on March 6th 2011.

The games launched with the franchise's biggest ever opening in Japan back in September, selling over 2.6 million copies after just two days. A European release is still scheduled for the rather vague "Spring 2011".
