Nintendo's pocket monsters reign are reigning supreme once more on the DS, with 1.5 million units sold in less than a week!

Since Pokémon Diamond & Pearl were released on September 28th, the two copies have sold a combined total of 1,575,266 units, and this was just after five days of release. Breaking that figure down, 813,237 copies of Diamond were sold, while Pearl proved slightly less popular with 762,029 copies sold.

These figures are higher than any other Pokémon release to date, and look set to only climb higher as time goes on. We'll keep you updated!
