Pokémon Black & White's Global Link mode has been delayed.

Nintendo initially intended for Pokémon Black & White to get a 'Global Link' mode on March 30th 2011 that would allow gamers to battle others around the world and access Dream World and capture Pokémon that otherwise can't be caught. However, due to the recent earthquake in Japan the release has been delayed.

In a statement on the Global Link website the mode is said to be delayed in an effort to help conserve energy in Japan, due to the failure of several reactors at the Fukushima nuclear plans. No release date has been given at the moment as presumably Nintendo will have to wait and see how the situation progresses.
