News: PokéPark 2 Revealed

A sequel to the action-packed Wii Poké-flick has been revealed...

The latest issue of Japanese magazine CoroCoro has hit subscribers, and details about a new Pokémon are trickling in, courtesy of Serebii.

The game is PokéPark 2: Beyond the World, and is a sequel to last year's PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure. The sequel is a Wii game once again, and will feature multiplayer for up to four players.

PokéPark Wii was a faster-paced Pokémon action game that saw you control Pikachu around various different zones of an amusement park, encountering many classic 'mon.

Now might be the time to temper those expectations for Junichi Masuda's appearance on Japanese TV at the end of the week. It now seems quite unlikely that he will make a shock reveal of another major Pokémon game in the wake of this unveiling, but we'll obviously have anything new he says covered.

PokéPark 2 is due out in Japan this winter.
