Australian ratings classifications reveal PokéPark Wii is being prepped for release outside of Japan!

Nintendo are apparently prepping the Pokémon-themed adventure title PokéPark Wii for Western release. The game, out since December in Japan, fuses battling, racing and exploring elements into a varied, light-hearted package starring everybody's favourite electric mouse, Pikachu. The game also features a photo-taking mode reminiscent of the N64's Pokémon Snap.

Pokémon site Serebii.net uncovered the title has having recently been passed by the Australian game ratings board - indicating an as yet unannounced release by Nintendo, in PAL regions at least.

With Black & White releasing this year in Japan and HeartGold & Soul Silver just released in Europe, Nintendo look to be making 2010 a big year for their Pokémon franchise...
