A new game has been announced that lets you become a celebrity, and beat up another one. Oh the fun!

Jonathan Davis is currently creating a video game in which you can play as famous musicians and beat each other up. The game, titled Pop Scars will allow you to any of many celebrities such as Korn, Limp Bizkit, Staind, Marilyn Manson, Mary J. Blige and more!

"It's basically a celebrity fighting game, but in the context of a 'Soul Calibur' or 'Mortal Kombat,' where it's a real fighting game and it's not just a cheap fighting engine, just for the hell of it because it's celebrity fighting," Davis said, referring to previous games such as Celebrity Deathmatch and Def Jam Vendetta. "It's going to be this real killer fighting [game] with these incredible different worlds where you can go."

While it may sound like it is mainly rock stars Davis insist there will be musicians from each genre of music. He also stated that each star will have his or her own world "With different traps and things that can just really eat them up,"

Davis will program and overrun the game, and is currently looking for a company to publish the title. "It's going to be gory and it's going to be good." Davis said.

Davis is a game enthusiast. "I like the shooting games, the fighting games, the adventure games, I'm a big fan of them all. Like 'Splinter Cell,' and there's a new game 'Rainbow Six.' I'm a huge fan of 'The Legend of Zelda.' I just love the way that thing looks. I've beat it twice already."
