Pirates of the Caribbean: At World (DS)

News: PotC: At World's End DS Screenshots

Battle across 2 Pirates of the Caribbean films on the tiny DS. New screenshots inside...

The Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End actually covers the events from Dead Man's Chest and At World's End, which will hopefully lead to a longer Film tie-in than the usual. Today, we have some new screenshots and information on the DS version of the game.

The main game is played along the top screen, with the touch screen used for items (that require dragging to the "item box", rather than a simple tap). It's essentially a simple 3D Platform/Hack N' Slash game, which is what you would expect from a game based on the film. The touch screen is also used as a lock-picking minigame (draw a line through a series of pins before they close) when you open chests in the main game.

The game has two multiplayer modes: Lair's Dice, a game which you may recall from the second movie; and a Deul, where you pick a character out of a selection, and fight using the stylus to attack, and the D-Pad to block (Hopefully, the buttons will block to, for left-handed people). Simple? Yes. Fun? No idea.
