News: Price Cut Waiting In The Wings?

Retailers are speculating with a lot of other retailers that there is indeed a price cut waiting in the wings for all consoles sometime in the next 12 months.
With lagging PS2 sales, and the race between Microsoft and Nintendo slowing down like a F-Zero ship slowly running out of fuel some moves must be made.
General hardware sales are down from the same time last year. Gamecube price has been 'officially' cut in Canada, Japan, USA and Down Under. Some shops cutting the price for a limited time in the UK.
If this price cut happens it will boost the sells of hardware around the world.
