News: Programmer Pledges Support for MML3P Fans

Mega Man Legends 3 Project's programming director encourages fans to fight for the game to be released.

News that Mega Man Legends 3 Project was cancelled aggravated many fans. While Capcom stated that there was a lack of interest in the title fans have been passionate in stating that this simply isn't the case. The project was unique in that it allowed fans to participate into the development process, by choosing character designs for example, and be given an insight into how a game is made. The one thing they weren't allowed to participate with however was whether or not the game would actually be made.

Mega Man Legends 3 Project's programming director Yoshiyuki Fujikawa wrote on Twitter today offering a feeling of support according to Andriasang. The tweet has now been removed but he is said to have encouraged fans to stay supportive as it will help Capcom to see just how much interest there is in the game.
