News: PSO III Beta Testing

Japanese beta testing for Phantasy Star Online Episode III: Card will begin on July 24th.
Sega have announced that between July 24th and August 31, 10,000 GameCube owners in Japan will be able to play trial versions of the game. Those who have GameCube Broadband modems are encouraged to join and it will be a first come first served basis.
Players will need to pay �6800 for the game, which will not work online after the trial period. They will not be able to transfer their characters into the final version but they will be given a gift.
No words from Sega of America or Europe about the possibility of doing the same in America and Europe.
