There are rumours that Sega's online RPG won't be released in Europe until late next year.

Apparently, publisher Infogrames have set a tentative release date of Q3 2003 for the huge online RPG Phantasy Star Online Episodes I & II.

There are no apparent reasons for the delay, the game is already out in Japan and due out in America by the end of the month. The likely reason is network problems.
