News: PSP Slim Beats DS In Japan

Sony gets another week at the top thanks to the launch of the re-designed PSP.
Not a good week for Nintendo in the land of the rising sun. The DS was painfully beaten by the PSP Slim, giving Sony the top spot in the charts for the second week running (though only the second time this year).
The newly re-modeled portable was also buoyed by sales of the PSP exclusive Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, which sold over 105,000 copies in the last seven days. Sony execs must also be pleased to see that this week held the lowest number of weekly Wii sales to date, as the lack of big new releases has seen the console's numbers continue to wane.
