A batch of new R: Racing Evolution screens has hit the web. Unfortunately they are not of very high quality. They do show you a little how the game is coming along in preparation for its release this christmas/early 2004.

Though it's made by veterans of the Ridge Racer and MotoGP series, this is an original racing game, featuring a more simulation-oriented approach.

Rather than the pure fantasy of earlier Namco racers, it has licensed cars, eight racing disciplines (including rallying, drag racing, GT circuits, and the like) and some real tracks among its selection of 11 courses.
