News: Rabbids Go Home! Announced

The Rabbids are set to star in their own adventure game - as they try to find their way home!

Ubisoft's iconic Rabbids characters are set to feature in their fourth game this year, as Nintendo Power magazine has broken the news of Rabbids Go Home. Unlike their previous appearances, this game will be a fully-fledged action/adventure title and not a mini-game fest, as the crazy critters attempt to find their way home.

In true Rabbids fashion it looks set to be a chaotic affair, as the Rabbids for some reason believe their destination is the moon, and decide to get there by building a tower of junk tall enough to reach it.

So your goal is to guide the Rabbids as they travel the Earth in shopping trolleys, stealing junk and people's clothes to build a tower of the stuff tall enough to get to the moon. You control control two Rabbids at once: one sits inside the shopping cart, another pushes. As you roll over junk, the Rabbids collect it, although some items will be harder to get a hold of than others.

Using the trademark 'BWAH!' attack will scare the clothing off of NPCs, which you can then add to the tower. Other items you pick up will give the Rabbids new abilities or power-ups for the cart.

This will be, technically, the first game with the Rabbids in a starring role, having been introduced for the Wii's series of Rayman mini-game titles (and actually proving far more popular and memorable than the titular character himself).
