North American gamers; heads up - Atlus is bringing its story-heavy DS RPG to the States...

Released very recently in Japan, Atlus has already announced plans to distribute Radiant Historia in North America next year. The DS RPG will launch across stores on February 22nd.

Radiant Historia is a plot-heavy RPG from the folks who brought you the Shin Megami Tensei and Etrian Odyssey games. The game has much of its theme revolving around time travel, with players transcending time, space and parallel steampunk universes in order to direct the path of fate away from its ill-fated course.

No word on a European release, unsurprisingly. If past form is anything to go by, whether Europe will receive Radiant Historia will rest on nothing but pit luck. Here's hoping if Atlus aren't prepared to release it, publishing heroes Rising Star Games steps up to the mantle...
