News: Rage ECTS Lineup

Rage is going to schowcase two GameCube titles at the ECTS this year.

Rage, one of the UK's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, is pleased to announce its line up of titles to be shown on stand 1546 at ECTS 2002, Europe's premier interactive entertainment expo, taking place at London's Earl's Court from 29-31 August.

Titles on display for the Sony PlayStation2, Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo GameCube include Rocky, Crashed, Twin Caliber, Rolling and Lamborghini.

ROCKY
Based on the critically acclaimed movie anthology staring Sylvester Stallone and featuring all of the leading characters from the five Rocky films � Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang, Ivan Drago and Tommy Gunn - you take on the role of the Italian Stallion and must fight your way through several single and multi-player gaming modes as you attempt to become the undisputed boxing champion of the world. Over 250 fight moves are faithfully captured including attacking hooks, jabs and uppercuts; defensive blocks, ducks and weaves. Rocky also features realistic damage including bruises, facial swellings, blood and sweat glistening on the boxers bodies as the action heats up plus there is a dedicated training mode designed to enhance your boxer's skill and stamina. Can you go the distance? Rocky is scheduled for release on PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube and Game Boy Advance in November 2002.

CRASHED
Crashed is a fast-paced, furious and fun step into the world of classic cars and their subsequent destruction. Climb into a hot rod, muscle car or performance car and rip it apart at the expense of your opponents. No engine tweaking, type balancing or pit stops - just glorious mayhem in the cars of your dreams. Crashed features a pioneering and extensive damage and wreckage system along with 18 individual game modes that include a stuntman section plus target and bus jumping. It's not the winning - it's the taking apart. Crashed is scheduled for release on PlayStation 2 in September 2002.

TWIN CALIBER
Twin Caliber is third-person action shoot'em-up where good and bad meet evil. Equipped with an innovative style of game play, Twin Caliber can be played in either single or co-operative player modes and allows you to independently control two weapons that can be used simultaneously via an analogue joypad. Featuring an action-packed storyline where two unlikely partners are thrown together in a fight for their lives against dark and powerful forces, together they must blaze their way through a mysterious town trying to uncover the secret of an evil cult. The unique control method produces an atmosphere that is every bit as exciting as staring in your own Hong Kong or Hollywood action movie. Twin Caliber is scheduled for release on PlayStation 2 in October 2002.

ROLLING
Rolling is an athletic, fast and exciting entry into the world of aggressive inline skating and incorporates 18 of the world's best skaters, including Cesar Mora (Aus), Fabiola da Silva (Bra) and Jon Julio (USA). With stunning environments and realistic motion captured physics, the player will be able perform death-defying jumps and aerobatics in a host of realistic settings across the two most popular disciplines - 'street' and 'vert'. Rolling includes accurate recreations of the most popular skate-parks from the USA, Europe and Japan and you can also choose from thousands of individual items supplied by world's leading inline skate clothing and boot brands.

Rolling also has over an hour of exclusive video footage shot by leading rollerblading videographers Drew Bachrach and Dave Paine along with a soundtrack provided by several internationally recognised musicians and bands including The Hives. Rolling is scheduled for release on PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube in early 2003.

LAMBORGHINI
Lamborghini is an officially licensed motor racing game based on the Italian motor-sport legend and features the entire range of Lamborghini cars past and present, including the 350 GT, Miura, Countach, Diablo and their very latest super car, the Murciélago. Enter the world of the Lamborghini Millionaire's Club where international thrill seekers take to the streets in a series of high stakes races and attempt to build the ultimate collection of rare and powerful Lamborghini cars. Featuring a series of stunning environments and spectacular vehicle damage, Lamborghini provides the ultimate high-speed thrills and will have its world exclusive first showing at the PlayStation Experience via a dedicated video wall. Lamborghini is scheduled for release on Xbox in March 2003 and on PlayStation 2 in late Summer 2003.
