News: Record-Breaking Sales In UK & US

Nintendo has enjoyed record-breaking sales both sides of the Atlantic with some incredible milestones broken!
The DS sold more than 191,000 units in the UK last week according to official ChartTrack � which means it has sold more than any other hardware format ever in a seven-day period. Quite astounding, especially for a system that's been out a good few years.
The previous record was held by the PSP in it's launch week back in September 2005, when it sold through 185,000 units.
Meanwhile on the other side of the Atlantic, Nintendo of America enjoyed its best Thanksgiving week of Nintendo's entire history. An astounding 653,000 DS units and 350,000 Wii consoles were sold, along with "millions of games and accessories". In the first half of November, over 650,000 Wii consoles have been sold in total. And that's just the first half...
