Think your Pokémon squad can beat all others? Then head inside for details about an upcoming tournament.

An official Pokémon Black & White tournament has been announced by the Pokémon company to see who is the very best, like no one ever was. The Wi-Fi tournament is open for all to participate in and registration is open now.

During the tournament you will compete online against others and are scored depending on how well you do. At the end of the tournament all the results will be posted on the Pokémon Global Link website The following rules apply for all battles:.

• All battles are double battles (i.e. 2 on 2).
• You can have between 4 and 6 Pokémon in your squad.
• All Pokémon must be from the Unova Pokédex.
• Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem are not allowed.
• Any Pokémon over level 51 will become level 50, but any Pokémon at level 49 or below will not change.

Registration closes on October 19th so be sure to head to the Global Battle Union if you're interested as only 10,000 participants can enter. Battles will take place between October 20th and 24th and you will need a Pokémon Trainer Club account as well as the ability to log into Pokémon Global Link.
