News: Repackaged 3DS Software

Various large retailers have begun repackaging Nintendo 3DS games to make things clearer.
Various big retailers in the UK have stuck new 'Nintendo 3DS' stickers over their 3DS software cases. The stickers span both the right and bottom sides of the games and are a distinctive red colour. GAME and ASDA have been seen doing this so far.
Nintendo haven't made any confirmation about new Nintendo 3DS cases yet so it could be an initiative by the retailers to avoid confusion but the likeliness is that this is an incentive from Nintendo.
The red branding does seem to tie in with the newly released Flame Red 3DS which is set to see a lot of advertising across the UK including '6,000 locations across the UK' being painted red in celebration of the release.
The new stickers are most likely a response to consumers who have been left confused since the launch of 3DS. Many consumers seem to think that the 3DS isn't an upgrade from the original DS family and that it is merely a "3D DS". These new stickers do seem to make the boxes more striking and certainly make them stand out against original DS software.
Stay tuned for any confirmations from Nintendo. What do you make of the new cases? Do you like them or are you not a fan? Do you hope all 3DS games see this treatment or will you be happy for it to stay in select retailers? Let us know in the comments section below.
