If you're in the North West on November 5th, why not go and get some Nintendo gaming on?
The second annual Replay Expo is returning to Blackpool next month, so if you're in the area, it's well worth a look-in.
The expo is run by Replay Events Ltd, a company specialising in championing both classic and modern gaming culture across the country.
Replay Expo 2011 takes place at the Norbreck Castle Exhibition Centre in Blackpool over the weekend of November 5th/6th. Get down there and you can spend the days playing a vast array of past and present consoles, arcade machines, home computers and even pinball machines. A series of tournaments will also be run across both days, spanning many genres including fighting games, first person shooters and retro classics.
Not only that, but some big names still going strong will be in attendance. There will be talks and Q&A sessions hosted by BAFTA - the highlight this year is an appearance from legendary UK developer of the Worms franchise Team 17.
Of course, if you're quite partial to the Nintendo side of things, the Big N will indeed be making an official showing. The focus will be on 3DS, so if you want to play some of Nintendo's biggest handheld games - maybe including a few that aren't out yet - there should be plenty to pique your interest.
Tickets for the event can be bought at the official site here, with a weekend pass going for 20 (12 if you're under 16). You can also follow Replay Expo on Facebook and Twitter.
