It's been announced over 1.2 million copies of Capcom's epic survival horror have been sold worldwide!

Sales figures for the literally stunning Resident Evil 4 have reached 210,000 in Japan, 360,000 units in Europe, and a whopping 660,000 units in North America. To date, this means over 1.23 million copies have been sold.

The game is without doubt the best of the series so far and one of the best GameCube games ever. If you haven't got it by now, let's see if we can't get the figures to 2 million before the graphically dumbed-down Playsation 2 version is released in Japan later this year.
