The good news is that we have the first screens and info from the game inside. The bad news is... currently, it's for PS3 and Xbox 360 only.

Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has provided the world with its first glance at the latest in the Resident Evil series. The article, and a subsequent press release from Capcom, confirm versions of the game are currently being made for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

No Revolution version has been announced - possibly as Revolution development kits have yet to reach the team - and the Revolution could still easily see a port of the game. However, at this time, one isn't planned.

The game will apparently continue on the story of Resident Evil 4, and is being produced by Jun Takeuchi.

Looking at the screenshots, the over-shoulder camera first used in RE4 will return, and the settings seem to include a bright, sunlit market street among other places. "Proper" zombies also seem ready to make a re-appearance.
