Nintendo DS gets Resident Evil: Deadly Silence, a remake of the original Resident Evil! Screenshots now inside!
Previous rumours have been confirmed true - Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu have revealed a new title in the Resident Evil series for the Nintendo DS. Cunningly titled "Deadly Silence" ("D.S.", get it?), the game looks to be a remake of the original Resident Evil featuring both Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield as playable characters!
The touch screen can be used to control the survival knife, allowing you to slash and hack at the zombies. It'll also be used for solving puzzles, as the last couple of the screenshots below show.
The blood-soaked screens reveal familiar areas from the Resident Evil 1 mansion, and boast what looks like full 3D graphics. Check them out below:
