Last Friday at 4:00 P.M I walked into the theatres with expectations that iwas about to see a great movie. But you see this was not the case, I saw an awesome movie one the best i've seen for a long time. In fact it was the talk around the school today! Anyways although I haven't played the games I believe the movie took place in between the first and second game. The movie wasn't "too" scary but there was the perfect amount of things making you jump out of your seats to keep you in the movie. This movie also had sweet special effects. The main things that I like about the effects was the Zombies, they looked like a real person at first but all of a sudden would attack and bite you, it was freaky. The other thing was the moves, they were kinda matrix like, this made you really like the main character. Even though the storyline was just a runoff from the game it was really good and ended where the second game took off. I so can't wait till the sequel. If you like action or horror movies or even just the resident evil games you owe to yourself to see this movie. It was definately one i could watch over and over again.

I was skepticle at first but after seeing nipple and near cooter I was won over. Actually the near full on nudity almost ruined the movie cause now I can never see the movie with my parents. But that's all right, I'll just have to see it three times in the theatre. Anyway, the storyline was pretty good, acting was pretty good, and the action was pretty good. Overall the movie was pretty good. The only problem I had was that about midway through the movie it didn't seem like they knew what to do anymore. I know what they should have done (keep introducing monsters) but they just kept reusing the same tired zombies. Some lines were pretty corny, overall though the story was pretty well thought out. The gore wasn't up to the game's standards however and that was one problem.

The best thing about the movie, and what really makes it worth seeing is that it fills in some holes from the games. Like where nemesis came from, etc. Another thing is that it leaves a gaping hole for a sequal which I hope will follow soon after.

The worst part was that the overused the jump technique. That's where you have a loud bang etc to make the audience jump. Before you knew it every 5 seconds they'd try to get you to jump.

I'd say this movie is at least worth one viewing, go see it.
