Nintendo will be bringing the latest big Resident Evil title to Europe early next year!

Nintendo of Europe has announced that it will release Capcom's 3DS-exclusive Resident Evil Revelations in the region on January 27th 2012.

As is almost convention now with Capcom titles, Nintendo will handle sales, marketing and distribution of the game in Europe and Australia, with Capcom remaining as the official publisher.

The game is set between the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, and focuses on the plight of Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, as well as some new characters, as they investigate a mysterious new bioterrorism threat in Europe.

Resident Evil Revelations is one of the first games to take advantage of the 3DS' circle pad extension - or 'slider pad', as the official name is - but it isn't yet known whether the add-on will be on shelves when the game comes out.
