Nintendo earlier today confirmed that Resident Evil: The Mercanries 3D will see release a European release on July 1st, just a few days after the US release on June 28th.

The title offers a number of characters to select, such as the newly confirmed Barry Burton, bringing the total number of selectable characters up to 8 to take on hordes of enemies alone or online via co-op. Players will now be able to shot and run at the same time along re-mastered stages seen in both Resident Evil 4 and 5.

The title is also set to have a demo of the upcoming Resident Evil: Revelations which is curently set for a 2012 release.
