News: Resident Evil tops the charts in Japan

You knew it would happen. Don't deny it. Resident Evil has topped the Japanese charts!
After going on sale in Japan yesterday, Capcom's remake of Biohazard (Resident Evil) for the GameCube is already topping national sales charts. Although it won't register in the weekly sales charts until Monday, it made the number one slot yesterday ahead of two new Dreamcast games from Sega and countless PlayStation 2 games. The next highest selling GameCube title is Doshin the Giant, at 8th place.
Looks like Gamecube is back on track in Japan!
