Japanese magazine Famitsu reveals Capcom's latest Wii game - a Wii version of Resident Evil Zero...
The latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu revealed that Capcom are porting Resident Evil Zero to the Wii.
Resident Evil Zero was a GameCube-exclusive Resident Evil game, and the last of the series' traditional kind (before Capcom changed to the over-the-shoulder perspective of Resident Evil 4). It follows Rebecca Chambers' ordeal a day prior to the Mansion incident (of the original Resident Evil) and introduced a new character - escaped convict Billy Coen.
According to Famitsu, the Wii version will (obviously) have improved controls, but there will be no new content. So it's a direct port of the GameCube version, just with new controls.
Update:In the recent announcement of Resident Evil 0 for the Wii, there has been both positive and negative feedback. Now Capcom themselves have stated that so far the game is set for a Japan release only and there's currently no plans to release it elsewhere. Also Capcom said that either way, they 'can't win' due to fans complaining about the existence of the game and now the fact it won't be getting a release worldwide.
