Nintendo will be announcing the revival of a much loved franchise at their conference on Thursday!

Word has leaked that this Thursday's Autumn press conference will see Nintendo show-off a mystery new Wii title, according to our word from our friends at Gamekyo.

While the gaming world mulls the prospect of whether another DS incarnation will also be sighted this week, what apparently will be revealed for certain is a new Wii game that is actually a revitalised classic franchise - one which "everyone is waiting for."

So, what could it be? Kid Icarus? Punch Out? Starfox? F-Zero? Our money would be on Pit finally making his appearance, but... we'll only know for sure this Thursday.
