Vivendi have announced a game to coincide with "Robots".

No, not just a game with Robots in it (as many have), but instead a game based on the Twentieth Century Fox film, imaginitively titled "Robots".

In the game, players will take on the role of the films' hero "Rodney Copperbottom" who fights against an evil tyrant bent on leading the Robots to a tragic destiny! The game will feature an authentic replication of the universe of the film as players meet other robots and fight against evil villains while upgrading their unique gadgets!

The CGI film is helmed by Chris Wedge, who was responsible for Ice Age and features the voice talent of Ewan McGregor, Halle Berry, Mel Brooks, Greg Kinnear, Drew Carey, Jim Broadbent and Amanda Bynes amongst many others.

The game is estimated for release sometime in March next year.
