Rock Band 3

News: Rock Band 3 Setlist

When Rock Band 3 is released in October you will be able to rock out to 83 songs from the last five decades.

Harmonix's Guitar Hero rival Rock Band has been very popular and divided many people over which is best. Determined to prove that Rock Band 3 will have everything a wannabe rock star needs when it launches on October 29th Harmonix have announced the full setlist for the game.

Rock Band 3 will have 83 songs in total, with several songs ranging right back to the 1960's. Artists from a broad range of genres have been included in the title such as Def Leppard, The Police, Blondie, James Brown, Tegan and Sara, Marilyn Manson and much more.

“The Rock Band 3 soundtrack represents the strongest, most diverse collection of music ever assembled for a video game,” said Paul DeGooyer, senior vice president of electronic games, music and programming for MTV Games. “The addition of keyboards and vocal harmonies to the Rock Band platform massively broadens the music selection available to our players. You haven’t sung Queen's epic "Bohemian Rhapsody" unless you’ve sung the harmony parts - and you can’t do that unless you have Rock Band 3.”
