Think Typing of the Dead with guitars, and you're most of the way there...

Got a pile of guitar peripherals lying around but bored of the music genre? Epicenter Studios want to have you covered with their next Wii offering: Rock of the Dead.

From the same studio that brought Wii owners the well-received Real Heroes: Firefigher, Rock of the Dead is an all new take on the rhythm-action genre. Remember Typing of the Dead, which had you input words into a keyboard controller to take down evil zombies? With Rock of the Dead, plug in either your Guitar Hero or Rock Band guitar and jam along to the notes on screen in order to smite the undead.

The game doesn't feature licensed tracks as such, but you will be jamming along to some rock-remixed versions of familiar tunes. Perhaps the greatest aural-treat though comes from the voice talents of Neil Patrick Harris and Felicia Day.
