News: Rough November US Sales Figures

Nintendo's DS beats Sony's PSP as Mario Kart DS and GTA:PSP go head to head, meanwhile the GBA outsells all!
The DS seems to be going down a storm of late in America with November sales showing it is now beating Sony's PSP. Preliminary figures from NPD are still to be corrected as initial reports were slightly overstated, but DS figures are somewhere in the reigon of 380,000 units compared to the PSP's 360,000.
The GBA managed almost 900,000 units sold, a staggering total and put it as by far the best selling games console/handheld of the month, with the PS2 selling through about 550,000 units.
The Cube sold around 275,000, beating the Xbox for the first time in a while (which sold through about 190,000). The low Xbox figure was of course due to the 360's launch which apparently scored the system 330,000 units sold - not overly impressive for a system launch, though no doubt sales were effected by the apparent stock shortages.
Once again, these figures are only preliminary but give a roughly accurate idea of the current US sales climate, which is looking very rosy for Nintendo in the handheld department.
