News: Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny Gets US Date

Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny has been given a late September release date in North America.

The latest Wii title in the popular Rune Factory series, Tides of Destiny (or Oceans as it is known in Japan), is making its way to North America later in the year. Natsume has announced that they will be handling the localisation of the title that has been received positively in Japan since it was launched earlier this year.

Along with confirmation of the localisation Natsume also released details about the localised names for the game's characters and locations. Siliconera report that Azel and Sonia are to be called Aden and Sonja, although you can change the names, and live on Fenith Island. The giant Ymir also appears to allow you to ride on him under the sea and pull submerged islands out of it.

As always we'll keep you informed about whether or not Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny will be released in Europe. Hopefully the title will get released as it will sit quite nicely amongst the recently released Xenoblade Chronicles and 2012's The Last Story and Pandora's Tower.
