Reports have appeared in the British press revealing that Tomb Raider developers SCi Entertainment are in talks about a possible takeover. The take-over bid, made yesterday, was still in its extremely preliminary stages, but that the approach could lead towards an offer.

While declining to mention which company in particular the offer has come from, speculation has already suggested industry giants Electronic Arts and Ubisoft.
