Grab your scarf and mittens, 20th Century Fox's Ice Age 2: The Meltdown is heading to the Cube and DS!

Publisher VU Games has announced it will be working on the official videogame of Ice Age 2: The Meltdown. The game of the movie-sequel takes players to a land of water parks, geysers and tar pits with familiar characters Manny the Mammoth, Sid the Sloth and Diego the Sabre-Toothed Tiger.

As the gang discover that melting glaciers will flood their valley, players must help Scrat the sabre-toothed squirrel to dig, sniff, swim, and roll to collect acorns - saving everyone from a massive flood in the process.

Out this Spring, the game is coming to Ice Age 2 Cube, DS and GBA, as well as PS2, Xbox and PC.
