All you Americans out there will be able to download Streets of Rage really soon.

Sega have today announced five new Virtual Console titles that will see a release in the US during the first quarter of 2007.

Bio-Hazard Battle, Gain Ground, Comix Zone and Bonanza Bros. all from the Sega Genesis system will see a release some time during the next few months.

But..hang on, whats that fifth title?

You're going to go crazy for this one. It is none other than classic beat em up come platformer, Streets of Rage!

"The Wii Shop Channel is a great avenue for gamers who want instant access to classic SEGA Genesis titles," said Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America, Inc. "Legendary titles such as Streets of Rage, Comic Zone and Bonanza Bros. are a perfect fit for this platform and will be ready for download later this month."

Hopefully it won't be long before we Europeans can get a piece of the Streets of Rage loving.
