Today Sega announced it is going to release three new titles this year in Japan: Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II Plus (GC Exclusive), Digital Island (GC Exclusive), and Puyo Puyo Fever (GCN/XBox/DC/PS2).

The company has not mentioned a US or European release for the games as of yet.

Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II Plus
It is said that this upgraded version of the original Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II includes some once online only contents, such as quests, new challenge modes, and 3 GBA games to download. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that this version will be released in Europe. PSO Plus will be available from November 27th.

Digital Island
Digital Monster uses "Teddy" technology, which you might have seen in Magic Pengel (PS2). In the game you can draw and make your 3D monsters, and then use them in the game. It is also said that you will be able to download your monsters to your GBA and 'show them to others'. The game is expected to be released Winter 2003.

Puyo Puyo Fever
Puyo is an action puzzle game that is scheduled to ship Winter 2003. It looks like it will be a tetris/dr.mario cross kind of game.
